For work in an underground mine it is essential to undergo extensive Emergency, First Aid and Safety Training procedures. You are expected to maintain a high level of personal fitness and stamina and be able to remain calm and respond well to emergency situations in a potentially extremely dangerous environment. My basic duties varied greatly, mostly being involved in implementing various services for the mine on both surface and underground sites.

Responsible for admission and orientation of all contractors and visitors. Liaison between contractors and construction management. Operation and security of machinery, stock and premises. Invoicing and storage of equipment and materials Responsible for supervision and task descriptions for sub laborers. Performing all labor requirements necessary to complete large warehouse-styled building from commencement to completion.

The premises is a 5-Star Gold Crown Resort. Responsible for all aspects of operation of the premises including; opening/closing and security of resort facilities and grounds. Front office duties included; reservations, telemarketing, guest check-in/check-out; ensuring all finances and bookings appropriately recorded. Ensuring bungalows, facilities and grounds met the expectations of a 5 Star Gold Crown establishment.
