My motivation is to grow more and more and learn more as I can with a what ever it takes attitude in fields where challenges are waiting.

10 Years in Total.

Presently I am working as an Operations Engineer at AES Lal Pir (US Global Power Company) thermal power station (370x 2 MW).

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Worked at Water treatment, FGD, Boiler and other plant auxiliaries.
• Start up and shut down of the unit
• Trouble shooting.
• Tag out / Lock Out responsibilities.
• Preparation of Plant operating procedures and their implementation.
• Chemistry (Lab Analysis)
• Electrical switching: 11 KV, 6.6 KV, MCC 400 Volts etc.
• Reviewing the safety manual and safety procedures.
• Management of Fuel activities and handling with PSO with respect to day to day need and dispatch of the complex in order to save capital.
• Outages planning and accomplishment of outages.
• Performance reviewing of Plant efficiency and assigned areas.
• Commissioning of the units in plant early days.
• Annual outages and conducting of different Audits at the plant as well as time to time managing the different maintenance activities.
• Day to day reporting and preparation of reports to NPCC Islamabad, PSO and plant internal reports.
• Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers for day to day matters.
• Involvement in planning’s and meetings to improve efficiency and new modifications of Plant.
• Plant KPI,s.
• Environmental and Safety Audits.
• Tracking of different Budget Heads.
• Full representation of Area.

*Worked with National power International (U.K based Multinational) now International Power at Hub power plant (4 x 323 MW) in Operations department. Boiler, Turbine, Demineralization, Desalination plant (1.5 MIGD), Fuel handling and other auxiliaries.

*Worked with Marine Engineering pvt ltd at Dockyard, Karachi, Pakistan.
*Worked with Descon Engineering pvt Ltd at Hub power plant Baluchistan
during construction.
*Worked at Baluchistan oil mills Hub, Baluchistan with Mechanical department.

Educational Qualifications:

• Matriculation (Science).
• FSC (Pre-Engineering).
• BSC (Maths,Physics,Statistics).
• Diploma of Associate Engineer, 3 yrs (Mechanical).

Trainings:

• Thermal power plant simulator training and Gas Turbine simulator training done at Wapda Engineering Academy Faisalabad, Pakistan.

• Basic Fire Fighting training taken at AES Lal Pir ltd and Hub Co pvt Ltd.

• Basic fire fighting training course at Fire and safety training centre with Haseen Habib pvt ltd Lahore, Pakistan.

• First aid and Basic life support course conducted by Agha khan university Hospital at AES Lal Pir Ltd.

• First aid Training and CPR training done at AES Lal Pir ltd and Hub co pvt ltd.

• Lube oil analysis training done at Karachi with Entek education services UK.

• Water chemistry training done with Nalco Chemical Company at AES Lal Pir ltd.

• Safe use of Fork Lift Trucks with Inspect test at AES Lal Pir Ltd.

With all this I am acting as an active member of fire response and emergency response team member here at Lal Pir. I worked as a safety committee member and with many task forces; I also love to play different sports and fond of accepting new challenges and having fun.

I always try to adopt the what ever it takes attitude as much as I can, and ready always to work in different area as per need. Well familiar with basic and day to day use of computer applications like MS Word, Excel, Power point, Internet etc.
