• Worked as Audit Senior in Energy, Chemicals and Utilities (ECU) department of Ernst & Young, London office on a short term secondment from January to March 2005. I was one of the few persons from my office who were selected for secondment to London office. Major audits / assignments performed during this period were:

CURRENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working in a managerial capacity in Assurance and Advisory Business Services in Ernst & Young, Islamabad Office for the last one and a half year. Major responsibilities include:
o Overall planning and performance of the audit
o Management and supervision of the audit teams
o Liaison with key client personnel for resolution of the audit issues and finalization of audit.
o Management of the reporting process.
o Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS / applicable reporting framework.
o Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales.
o Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget.





Key Strengths:
• Good financial reporting knowledge with practical experience of International Financial Reporting Standards / International Accounting Standards.
• Experience of implementing the requirements of Section 404 of Sarbanes Oxley Act regarding establishment and maintenance of internal control structure over financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills including working with senior management.
• Believe in achieving goals through commitment and hard work individually and within teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances and working conditions and able to integrate and work with teams.
• Can achieve targets and challenges, have repute to meet them well within time.
• Report writing and presentation skills.
