Career Objective
• To participate in periodical inspection and testing of all static equipment of process plants and pipelines to analyse the condition of the equipment.
• The Inspection activity includes to ensure plant integrity and reliability.
Professional Experience
• To supervise all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, pressure relieving devices, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
• To identify areas of concern and propose dedicated inspection procedures to follow-up their resolution to improve Plants Integrity.
• To prepare data to implement and updates the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance Plants Integrity and Reliability in order to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance cost and Plants Availability.
• To advise on repair techniques, materials selection, welding procedures, inspection and testing requirements.
• To supervise and participates in non-destructive testing of equipment and piping.
• To check condition of safety relief valves, prescribes repairs, as required and witness relief pressure setting.
• To carryout inspection during implementation of Field Change Offer for mechanical integrity and perform shop and field inspections which includes review QA/QC documents, method statements etc.
• Repair/ modification of Storage tanks
• Inspection of Static Equipments like Pressure Vessels, Processing Columns and Storage Tanks in compliance to various Codes, Standards and Project Specifications for the Equipments and Pipelines fabricated at Shop/ Project • Preparation of QAP / Weld Plan & Inspection Check List/ Material Heat Chart etc. for specific Project requirements.
• Preparation of WPS, PQR/ WPAR & WPQ accordance with ASME , BS.
• Preparation of Project Specific Procedures.
• Raw Material Identification at Vendor’s place, Work Site.
• Witnessing of stagewise Inspection activities as per QAP/ WPICL.
• Witnessing of NDE during the stages of fabrication
• Reviewing of Normalising, PWHT charts
• Witnessing of Hydrostatic tests.
• Witnessing of NDE after Hydrotest.
• Preparation of Final Inspection Documents for submission
