Shift Supervisor/Process Operator

Sr.Process Operator in the DCS (Honeywell) panel and field operations of all sections of mainly synthesis reactor, refrigeration, ammonia storage and in the Start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting and support maintenance team.

I'm a diploma holder in Chemical technology having 13 years of experience in petrochemical field worked as Process operator in all sections of Ammonia Gas synthesis plant and overseas experience in Singapore Bisphenol producing plant including pre-commisioning,commisioning,startup,shutdown, trouble shooting and partly maintainance and having handsonic experience in DCS both Honeywell and Yogakawa and ABB and handled various equipments and mass transfer Operations,Utilities and watertube boilers.
Worked as a Process Technician in MITSUI BISPHENOL SINGAPORE PTE LTD, SINGAPORE from 05-10-1998 to 28-02-2001 a Petrochemical Plant producing Bisphenol from acetone and phenol using catalyst HCL gas and worked in the field and DCS (Yokogawa) panel Operations, Startup–shutdown activities of process like raw material receiving, reactor section, production Separation of Hcl gas, phenol removal, bisphenol concentration and prilling and product Storage, Plant commissioning and support maintenance activities.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Worked in both DCS Panel Operation and Field Operation of round the clock (3 shifts).
•Monitoring & maintaining the process parameters of Continuous running plant as per norms and logging the same and able to read PF /PI diagrams.
•Noticing the abnormalities and take proper action to achieve maximum production without any breakdown.
•Follow up standard procedures for start up and shutdown operations.
•Taking proper action during power failure and trouble shooting process problems.
•Monitoring of running equipments such as pumps and compressors etc.
•Co-operating with maintenance team for speeding up of work and to reduce down time.
•Maintaining production reports & maintaining quality norms.
•Proficiency in safety practices and procedures & handled all the type of fire extinguishers.
•Issuing work permits for both cold and hot works and carrying the work with adequate safety measures & following tagging procedure and wrack out procedure for electrical works.
