Professional Experience
October 2006 –Till Date: Senior Geophysicist-Chief Processing
CGGVeritas, OFFSHORE, Onboard SEARCH Vessel
I started as a Processing Operator, then Shift Leader Processing and in January 2008 I held the position of the Chief Processing
Main Activities:
• TECHNICAL SUPERVISION AND EXECUTION OF SEISMIC PROJECTS
In cooperation with the Onboard Client’s representative, my role consists to initialize the projects and prepare the seismic processing flow and provide technical support to the Onboard Processing Team. I was responsible of the data processing and tests on the production sequence to follow the contract specifications defined by the client.
I worked in many 3D and 4D projects, in Golf of Mexico (Walker Ridge 2 and 3), North Sea (Gannet, Quad22, Quad30,NELSON,SEAN), Mediterranean (NC41 Block Libya), for different clients (SHELL, North Hydro, ENI, and CGGVeritas Data Library). Some Projects consists in just a Quality Control of the surveyed data. For Other Projects, we are doing a full processing (PSTM, Correlation old surveys with new surveys).
During these years, I acquired a good knowledge of the encountered problems in marine processing (Swell Noise, Multiples, Seismic Interferences…)
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT
I’m participating in the definition of the project's technical objectives. I’m drawing up and managing project monitoring documents, and taking in charge technically all projects from start up meetings with the client to the processed data delivery.
