To serve as a health, safety and environment (HSE) professional with multidisciplinary experience and education in a company

1. Field Environmental Officer
The job responsibilities while working with Premier Kufpec Pakistan Exploration Limited (PKPEL) from 1st April 2002 to 30th May 2003 during drilling operations included as follows:
„« Compliance monitoring and reporting all environmental issues in coordination with PKPEL¡¦s field representative.
„« Ensuring that recommendations of EIA & EMP are carried out in the field.
„« Facilitate in the monitoring of operations by third party monitors and the regulatory agencies.
„« Oversee that PKPEL¡¦s HSE corporate policies are implemented; identify the causes leading to non-compliances, inform to the management and provide control measures to avoid re-occurrence or eliminate their risks.
„« Imparting awareness trainings to the field staff and supervisors and coordinating with key stakeholders.
2. HSE Assistant
The tasks were achieved during work with PKPEL from 1st October 2001 to 16th March 2002 in seismic operations, Kirthar National Park, Pakistan as follows:
„« HSE assistance and support in logistic maintenance at the geophysical survey site.
„« Ensuring environmental management plans in the field, participating in daily environmental meeting and providing feedback to the audience on observations made on the field.
3. Well Site Geologist
Fifteen days training with Pakistan Oil Fields Limited (POL) at Pindori # 5. During drilling operation, knowledge was acquired on the following operations:
„« Covering introduction to Mud Logging, Rig Floor Operations, Cementation, Casing and safety measures at rig-site.

1. M.Sc. Environmental Engineering Specialization in Environmental Management Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
Completed in June, 2007

2. M.Sc. Applied Geology Specialization in Petroleum & Structural Geology
University of the Punjab, Pakistan
Obtained in December, 2002

Participated in three weeks training course on ¡§Environmental Hydrogeology and Groundwater Contamination¡¨ delivered by course lecturer, Prof. Dr. A.Q. Rathur, from Curtin University, Australia.

Basically, I was petroleum & structural geologist and had two years multidisciplinary experience. During my assignment with seismic operations, my duties included HSE assistance.Latter I was appointed as "Field environmental Officer" during drilling operations. Apart from good work, I gave many innovative suggestions which proved helpful in compliance with EIA/EMP recommendations in the field and recommended sustainable solutions of HSE issues. After declared suspension of Zirkani-1 exploratory well, PKPEL stopped exploration activities in Dumbar block. Meanwhile, I realized that I would not be competitive in future with out having an advance degree in environment. Consequently, I decided to come abroad and do my master in environmental engineering which I have successfully completed on 20th June, 2007 from Technical University of Denmark.

In addition to multidisciplinary education and first-hand field experience, I developed an ability to work in international teams and also perform assigned tasks independently which I have proved during my assignments with Premier Oil. Also, I have excellent communication skills and my presentation is also admirable. I have an ability to adjust myself in all kinds of environments and systems as per dynamic situations. I believe, with multidisciplinary education, experience and international exposure, I shall acquire the state-of-the-art skills and experiences as HSE officer in oil and gas business.
