SAP Basis and Technical Consultant

•Assignment (As a SAP Basis Support I am responsible for the followings)
•Installation & Configuration of SAP R/3
•Client Administration - Creation of Clients, Copying Client within the same System & between different SAP systems, Verifying Client Copy Logs, Deletion of Clients, Locking and Unlocking of Clients
•User Administration – Creation of Users, Managing and Modifying User Master Records, Creation and Management of User groups, Locking & Unlocking of Users, Managing R/3 Users and their Sessions, Configuring SAP Logon and Logon Groups for Load Balancing
•Management of Authorizations, Roles and Profiles – Creation and Copying of Various types of Roles, Managing and Modifying Roles, Authorization Objects, Authorization Fields, Maintaining and Assigning SAP’s Delivered Profiles to Users
•Configuration of Transport Management System – Configuring Transport Domain Controller, Adding Systems to the Transport Domain, Creation of Transport Layer, Configuring Transport Routes, Creation of Development Classes/Packages, Creation and Management of change Requests, Monitoring Transports and Repairs
••Print Administration – Configuring R/3 Printer Devices and Managing Spool Requests, Printing, Displaying Spool Requests and Modifying its attributes
•Applying Online Correction Support(OCS) Patches and Applying SAP Notes to SAP R/3 Applications in different SAP Systems
•Database Administration – Administering SAP’s underlying Database through BRTOOLS, Online/Offline Backup, using BRTOOLS or from within R/3, Modifying/Optimizing Database Instance Parameters, Tablespace & Storage Management, Adding Datafiles for Tablespace Extension, Updating the Statistics of Database Tables & Indexes, Monitoring and Verifying Database Logs
•General Administration - Administering Enqueue Locks, Analyze and Troubleshoot Update Problems, Tracing ABAP Short Dumps, R/3 System Log, Performance Trace, Developer Trace & System Trace for Problem which arise in normal operation
•Maintaining R/3 Profiles, Configuring Operation Modes, Monitoring R/3 and its Components through CCMS such as Database, Operating System, Network & Buffer Performance, Checking Alert Logs and Defining Alert Thresholds
•Setting up of Remote Connections among SAP Systems by Configuring RFC Connections
•Analyzing and Troubleshoot Hardware Issues like CPU Bottleneck, Physical Memory Bottleneck
