Plane and effectuate predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for equipments.
Conducting periodic checks to ensure performance of various equipments.
Identify areas of defects; conducting service/repair to rectify equipments.
Analyze the breakdowns and taking corrective and preventive action.
Keeping track of the spares required and maintaining the inventory of the same.

Job Profile
Operation & Maintenance of all equipments of control room & switchyard transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, motors, CT/PT, Battery etc.
Transformer: Maintenance includes short circuit /open circuit test, IR value test, winding resistance test, BDV test for transformer oil, voltage ratio test, and magnetic balance test. Oil testing - crackle test for moisture, breakdown test, acidity test, draining out oil and internal examination.
Battery maintenance. - Discharge test and servicing of the 48V, 110 V, 300 AH Battery bank.
Circuit breaker: Maintenance of 3-phase CB, ON/OFF testing by circuit breaker analyzer.
Maintenance of CB-closing coil, slide contact, motor, auxiliary contact.
Isolator/surge arrester: Maintenance of isolator includes greasing of moving contacts & oiling of parts, inspection of fixed contacts and other parts.
Maintenance and inspection of surge monitor, pressure release port, grading ring and IR value etc.
Protection Relay: Testing and operation of over current earth fault relay, over current relay, IDMT relay, auxiliary relay.
