LPG / Natural Gas Service Manager

To manage a team of gas engineers in either installation, service, maintenance, emergency response or a combination of all of these.

Current Position: June 2008 - present Project Manager, Lootah BC Gas, Dubai
Project: Discovery Gardens, Jebel Ali: Residential 260 buildings of 40 to 60 apartments each.

Successfully turned around a stagnantprogramme to establish renewed working relationships between main contractor Turner Construction, their sub-contractors and Lootah Bc Gas (LBG)
Re-opened and improved technical communication levels between all parties to incease productivity, improving flow of information and reducing delays in commissioning by 25%

Feb '07 - Jun '08: Self-employed. Working on service, repair and installation of LPG and nat gas. Registered engineer for An Bord Gais and Flogas in the west of Ireland to cover all of county Galway, north county Clare and parts of Mayo and Roscommon. Mainly domestic but cater and enjoy light commercial work also - and the occasional oil boilers serviced too.
Feb 2007 - present.

1998 - Jan 2006 SMC Installations/Unigas, Dublin. Emergency Response Engineer. I was part of the team covering Dublin city and county responding to gas escapes and leaks - sub-contracted to AnBord Gais.

1993 - 1998 MacLean & Nuttall, Dublin. Service and installation engineer, progressing to field supervisor and then area manager with responsibility for over 20 engineers. Although I was with a private company here, I myself was reporting directly to An Bord Gais.

1983 - 1993 I completed 10 years with British Gas covering installation, maintenance and service of all domestic appliances. As my career progressed I was myself responsible for training and developing apprentice engineers too.
