Project Health Safety Environment Management

Seeking project based Safety Management role

I am presently contracting in the oil and gas industry as a company called Qaest Pty Ltd and as can be seen from my resume I have serviced the industry in the vicinity of 9 years .
As an individual and company I have been involved in QHSE Management, Training and consultancy for a period in excess of 35 years covering the fields of Oil and Gas, Construction, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Plastics, and Automotive Industries.

My various QHSE management roles have included companies of varying sizes from 30 to 2500 personnel with direct reports from 1 to 50.
I am a self motivated person with a realistic practical approach to Quality Health and Safety management and a belief of empowering all personnel to participate and contribute to the companies prosperity by encouraging open communication within all sectors of the organisation .

My career responsibilities as a Manager and Consultant has been to introduce systems and training that has assisted companies implement functional management systems that meet the requirements of or achieve accreditation to ISO 9000, ISO 4801 and ISO 14001 also core systems audits covering Quality, Safety and Environment management ,QHSE input for major tenders, ensuring management systems availability at project start up and ongoing support to project completion including QHSE reporting to Project Directors and customers and the rationalisation and integration of companies QHSE systems and personnel.

As an accredited Work place trainer and assessor I have developed and conducted training courses covering Diploma of Quality Management, Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety, WorkCover approved 5 day course OH&S for Managers Supervisors and OH&S Representatives, Quality Awareness, Internal Audit, Plant Risk Assessment, Hazardous Substances, Manual Handling and Industrial Manslaughter.
