PROFESSIONAL CAREER

a) Served in EX-Pakistan Shell Oil Company as a Trainee Driller from August’1967 to September’1969, worked on Rig Oil well 96.

b) Served in EX-Pakistan Shell Oil Company as an Assistant Driller in offshore Drilling from October’1969 to January’1970, worked on Rig sidewinder in Bay of Bengal.
c) Served in Oil & Gas Development Corporation (OGDC), Pakistan from June’1970 to October’1975 as an Assistant Driller, worked on Rig Ural Mash 3D-61.
d) Served in Taila Sandhani Company from November’1975 to June’1977 as an Engineer Drilling & Drilling Equipment.
e) Served in PETROBANGLA from July’1977 to July’1979 as a Senior Engineer Drilling & Worked on Rig National-375 & Ural Mash 3D-59.
f) Served in PETROBANGLA from August’1979 to June’1983 as a Manager Drilling & Materials Schedule and worked on Rig IDECO H-1700.
g) Served in PETROBANGLA from July’1983 to June’1989 as a Senior Manager Drilling & Drilling Equipment and worked on Rig Cardwell E-1100 & F400-4DH.
h) Served in Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration Company Ltd. (BAPEX) from July’1989 to June’1996 as a Deputy General Manager, in charge Maintenance & Logistic Division.
i) Served in Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration Company Ltd. (BAPEX) from July’1996 to August’1996 as a Deputy General Manager, in charge Consultancy Services Division.
j) Voluntary retired from PETROBANGLA on 1st September’1996.
k) Served with Bangladesh Oil Field Services Ltd. (BOSL) as a Technical Director from October’1996 to October’2002. During these periods served with Occidental of Bangladesh Ltd. from 1997 to 1999 as a Warehouse Supervisor at Sylhet Warehouse.
l) Served with SAIF Power & Oil Field Services Ltd. as a Director, Technical & Operation from November’2002 to September’2003.
m) Served with Parker Drilling Company International Ltd, Bangladesh Division as a Consultant from October’ 2003 to March' 2008. During the services with PDC, completed HSE management courses.

Educational Qualification

i) S.S.C, Jessore Board in 1964.
ii) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & got 1st class in 1967 from Pak-Swedish Institute of Technology, Kaptai. (The then East Pakistan, under the central Government of Pakistan).

Strong communication (Technical information and data) skill and aptitude as a member of the operation team in Oil & Gas Exploration & Production areas. Thirty three years’ experience in this field with responsibilities ranging from Drilling, field supervision of drilling projects to the preparation of monitoring and operational plans around drilling operation equipment maintenance, repair and logistics, based on relevant academic qualification, professional on-the-job training and considerable field exposure, maintenance; power tong operation, practical trouble shooting of all drilling equipment, machine; Rig mob-demob, assembling-dismantling of Rig and preparation of reports etc).

PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS
a) “Supervisory Course” from Management Development Training Center, Dhaka in1967
b) “Drilling Technology” for a period of 6 (six) months during service in Ex-Pak-Shell Oil Company in 1968.
c) “Drilling Equipment Maintenance” for a period of 9 (Nine) months in Algeria (SONATRACH) in 1977-1978 & Served with SONATRACH as a Driller on Rig National 1320M & on Gas line construction.
d) “Drilling Supervisory Course” for a period of 6 (six) weeks from Norway in the year 1982.

a) Visited Romania in the year 1978 as Govt. Delegation for selection of Drilling Rig for PETROBANGLA.
b) Visited France in the year 1980 as Govt. Delegation for selection of Drilling Rig for PETROBANGLA.
c) Visited England in the year 1980 as Govt. Delegation for 2nd Hydrocarbon project.
d) Visited Turkey with Govt. Delegation for joint Collaboration with TPAO in the year 1983.
