Job description at AOS, Corus and Damen:
Coordination and planning of project related activities of engineering, purchasing, expediting, inspection and transport within EPC projects. Calculating with requested time scheduling, quality and procedures mentioned in the project documentation. Reviewing and re-negotiatimg contracts, problem solving, liaise with law department, Total Cost of Ownership, etc. Responsible for the making of and signing of contracts between Project team and contractors. Using my sharp vision as a tradesman and my professional attitude I am able to influence direct the project results. International I know how to find the way and I am focused to realise qualitative en quantitative improvements.
My job as Senior Project Buyer is to judge the project at the start with its commercial contract conditions and its list of demands of purchasing.
Selecting qualified suppliers, and when necessary proposing to make an audit for financial stability and technical competences. Preparing and agree on (frame)contracts. Coordinate and chair meetings with team members and suppliers, and negotiate about prices, time of delivery, conditions, guarantees, documents, etc.
