Professional Experience
In my position as Project Material Controller, I DO perform the following:
• Aware of priority work scopes (Project Phases) currently underway in the field.
• Comply and maintain manual and computerized records (EXCEL/Access), reviews Phases schedules and related information and confers with Project Manager to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials necessary for certain jobs (Isometrics).
• Identify potential material shortages based upon knowledge of Project Phases, material availability, and estimated lead time of Materials Deliveries.
• Acts as an interface between Project Team and Performing Company.
• Accurately handling all paperwork related to Project Yard duties, such as receiving (Purchase orders/PK. List/MRS), Issuing (MIV/Isometrics), Cargo Manifests and scheduling deliveries to performing Contractor (Petrojet).
• Participates in the Development/Amendment of Project Phase/Isometrics to be aware of Materials Requirements as well as Movement.
• Ensure Materials accuracy and safety, timely receiving and issuing.
• Prepare regular reports, inventory accuracy and adjustments, and overall performance of Project's Materials.
• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, between Project and performing contractor (PJ), according to Phases/Isometrics schedules or Project PRIORITIES or materials availability.
• Examines material delivered to Petrojet to verify conformance to specifications and Date required as follow up excess quantities (pipe line).
• Applying Warehouse keeping with assertive adherence to safety regulations and material storage policies as well as lifting plans and work permits.
• Accurately handling Materials Filing System (DCC) for Materials Correspondences.

•Comply and maintain manual and computerized records (MAXIMO/MAINFRAME/EXCEL), reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
•Act as a Single Point of Contact for the Planner and/or other field personnel when fulfilling material requirements
•Maintain open lines of communication with the Planning Department and/or individual Planners from each Department.
•Aware of priority work scopes currently underway in the field.
•Familiar with specifications related to the work scope.
•Utilize the catalog to search for material that may be available in either active or surplus stock.
•Identify available material that may be substituted for requested stock.
•Coordinate transfer of material from other sites.
•Prepare Purchase Requisitions for material and/or services, as required.
•Identify potential material shortages based upon knowledge of work scopes, material availability, and estimated lead time of replenishment stock.
•Verify whether material can be supplied/reserved from stock or whether a purchase is required.
