I have 20 years scaffolding experience of which I have worked in the UK, West Africa and Europe as a Co-ordinator/ Inspector & Supervisory roll, for 11 years and have extensive experience in all relevant codes of practice.

Duties: In this position, I’m working for Simon Carves Wilton Teesside LDPE as a Scaffold Coordinator, My duty is to co-ordinate work & manpower on site for the assigned shift in compliance with project specifications in order to minimize costs & meet established deadlines, respecting HSE and quality procedures & practices.

April 2006 – January 2007
Salamis, Scaffolding Superintendent, Clyde platform.
PSN P.W.R.I Project.
Location: North Sea.
Duties: Supervision of several scaffolding teams to ensure all work is carried out to Talisman procedures/ Salamis scaffolding procedures and a safe working practices. Also ensure scaffold is erected/ dismantled to budget and updated on Cost Tracker Sheets, Inspection of scaffold to BS standards.

May 2001- April 2006:
Position. HSE Scaffolding Advisor / Inspector.
Company: Exxon-Mobil.
Location: Nigeria West Africa.
Duties: In this position, I was working as Scaffold Advisor / Inspector for EMPN Qua Iboe Terminal (Exxon Mobil Producing Nigeria),as part of the Loss-prevention teem.. In my position, as the HSE Scaffolding Rep, it is my duty to ensure that contractors are working to procedures and the Permit To Work system. I also ensure work is carried out in accordance with project specifications / procedures / method statements and review of work packs and method statements and contractors HSE policy as well as scaffolding procedures and to provide HSE leadership. On job training of Nationals is also part of my work scope.


August 2000-May 2001: Position Scaffolding C/H.
Company: Salamis Nina Field.
Location: North Sea.
Duties: Review and implement permit/ toolbox talk & safe working practice. Erect/ dismantle/modify & inspect scaffold to BS standard. Some major scaffold erected to engineers drawings.

My duties have included the supervision of various teams, who’s tasks involved the erection of a selection of scaffolding system (special purpose to engineers design).
In my latest position, I was working for Simon Carves Wilton Teesside LDPE as a Scaffold Coordinator, My duty is to co-ordinate work & manpower on site for the assigned shift in compliance with project specifications in order to minimize costs & meet established deadlines, respecting HSE and quality procedures & practices.
