September 2007 to Date as working for Jade Petroleum Limited as its Supply Planning Manager.Responsibilities are among others, Making procurement plans of petroleum products based on sales forecast of marketing and distribution department as well as stock inventories at the most competitive prices, Proper utilization of fund and inventory control based on market procurement contacts, Provide and advise on the best yield for the crude imported by the company so as to maximize on profits, Build and maintain a network and relationship with Suppliers and Traders and other stake holders like Kenya Ports Authority, Kenya Revenue Authority and Kenya Pipeline Corporation with the aim of improving service level and synergy savings from integrated supply chain program, Coordinates with the relevant departments within the company to deliver the most desirable selling plan, Give proper record of inventories and tractability and hence summary of monthly inventory/stocks report, Conduct Tender processes with the aim of winning contracts and thus supplying Petroleum Products to would be clients, Present the company in forums that affect the oil industry, Giving leadership and guidance to members working under my department
2. July 2006 to September 2007, working for the Kenya Petroleum Refineries Ltd, as the As the Refinery Programmer, I was responsible for working out crude oil processing and shipping programs, Bitumen and Grease production and deliveries to marketers to meet Users’ requirements.
3.Before being the refinery programmer, i was a Senior Panel/Operations Technician for the same company.
