Geoservices west Africa
Jan 2005 – July2007: Unit manager and field service support, Mudlogging (Angola)
• Responsible for the Quality assurance of client agreed format on logs for Total E&P Angola projects for block 32 and soyo onshore block on contract operational requirements.
• Supervision and Evaluation of mudlogging geologists, junior data engineers with recommendation to training department towards career development.
• Coordination of pre job mobilization of onshore and offshore units with necessary contingencies for back up on spares, personnel for contract execution.
• Supported in the successful introduction and running of new innovative product line services such as ALS3,GeoNext and Flair for operators in Angola and Gabon.
• Participated in Geoservices HS&E management system which includes compliance to polices,standards;continuously updating HS&E standard by commenting on unforeseen risks encountered in the work place through supervision,accoutability
• Configuration of hardware and installation of soft ware used on company computers.
• Liaising with company management on communication with field units daily on operations.
Jan 2003 – Dec 2005: Senior data Engineer, Mudlogging (Gabon)
Provision of drilling optimization solutions which include but not limited to real time surface logging services to operators at the well site such as drilling hydraulics, D-exponent for overpressure detection, gas detection, torque and drag, lost circulation zone identification.
• Doubled as a mudlogging geologist identifying lithological changes, well correlation from past wells in a development field in predicting formation change.
• Responsible for the generation of masterlogs, overpressure logs, drill logs, gas logs and final well reports
• Supervision and monitoring of well site data acquisition, log processing and interpretation.
• Rigging up or commissioning of mud logging units onsite.
