• Worked as Design Engineer (Junior Design Officer) in Directorate of Naval Design, New Delhi.
• In-charge of structure group drawing office for air defence ship in Indian Navy.
• Prepared, and guided juniors in preparing guidance drawings such as foundations of machinery, fuel tanks, fresh water tanks, bulkheads, decks deck fittings, super structure etc.
• Designed anchor chain cable locker, minor bulkheads and its non load bearing joints.
• Designed fore and aft structures, stem bar, rudder, skeg and transom etc.
• Prepared many connection details for joining members of structure.
• Went on sea trials on various ships as a part of testing/trial.
MAY 1999 – APRIL2000 : • Worked as senior Draughtsman in Directorate of Naval Design, New Delhi.
• Basic selection of materials and sizes required for warships was done.
• Calculated approximate estimation of material.
• Guided juniors in preparation of structure drawings.


APRIL 1995 -MAY 1999 : • Worked as Draughtsman/ in charge ‘Hull Design’ in Ship Building Centre, Visakhapatnam.
• Verified project layout files and attended meetings for finalization of work shop location, work area, movement of materials and movement of sections and blocks after fabrication for new submarine.
• Prepared workshop layout drawings.
• Prepared data regarding manpower requirement, inventory control etc.
• On official delegation went to St.Petersburg, Russia for 2 months.
• Maintained records related to the project.
