Responsibilities:
Supervising three accountants, approving transactions recorded.
Issuing full set of financial statements on monthly basis (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow).
Preparing variances reports for job orders by checking direct materials direct labors and overhead variances.
Investigate any material variances which represent the difference between actual and standards.
Approving purchase orders.
Checking procedures done by purchase department,
Checking receiving and issuance done by store keeper.
Appointed as quality management representative (QMR) for getting ISO 9001 certificate.
Presenting all financial legal issues (financial courts).
Putting pricing standards by using direct labor hours as a base of allocation for indirect cost.
Sharing in company formation of production departments by getting
Information from production on timely basis.
Approving payroll, reconciling banks on daily basis and preparing bank positions in addition to updating facilities schedule (promissory notes, letter of guarantee), inter companies and suppliers reconciliation.
Reallocating indirect cost on the various divisions by using cause and effect relationship.
Following collection, coordinate with company lawyer to take legal actions for old outstanding receivables.
Preparing financial ratios as an illustration on the financials.
Preparing budget based on company history and checking the variances between the actual performance and budgeted amounts.
Preparing audit file and work with external auditors to finalize their audit task.
Reporting to chief financial officer.
