Project Manager, Project Engineer in a I&C Area.

I am Electrical Eng. with thirty-four years of experience with interest in provide my services, as PE or PM, and/or Leader/Senior Engineer/Chief Department in the E and C+I disciplines, in a recognized company.

Knowledge of project management and coordination techniques, familiarity with planning, procurement, expediting, construction methods, and environmental engineering aspects; knowledge in coordinating contract packages, constructability review, Site Plan management and tracking construction progress. High commitment to HSE management; Management of Conflicts and Claims during projects execution and close-out, Experience in preparation and evaluation of engineering and contractor tenders. Manager of new and revamped multidisciplinary projects for power generation, utilities, offsite, gas compression, chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, oil production and crude movement. Ample experience in the organization and coordination of engineering teams for the execution of C, B, FEED and DE for multidisciplinary projects, developing the schedule, recommended deliverables, and labor hour estimate for all the disciplines involved in the project.
Have experience in the coordination of the electrical, instrumentation, automation and processes teams to develop: PFD’s, P&ID’s and control schemes, one line diagrams, HAZOP, HAZID and SIL studies, control and operational narratives (philosophies), Logic & Loop Diagrams, revision and approval of data sheets; analysis of Cause-Effect diagrams, Hook ups, wiring diagrams.
Experience in E+I layout, electrical S/E buildings, electrical interfaces with digital control systems and other electrical equipments design interfaces with other disciplines and interferences verification. Design in the Electrical, HV, MV and LV and C&I disciplines of; hazardous-area locations, Knowledge of intrinsic safety (IS) circuits, design of bus technology. Writing specification and calculation, including spare parts, vendor recommendation, requisition submission, procurement, technical bid evaluation, inspection and witnessing of the FAT and SAT for: electrical and instrumentation long lead equipments. Knowledge and experience in the appropriated use of the ISA, API, ASME, NFPA, IEC, ISO, NEC, IEEE, DEP and other standards.
