„« 12 yrs of experience in HSE discipline in operation & maintenance of Oil & Gas production / Processing plants.
„« Develop and implement health, safety environmental and loss control program and procedures in the plant.
„« Participate in HAZID study technique, accident prevention methodology and delivering HSE trainings
„« Conducting Safety Audits, safety Inspections.


„« Working as Field Safety Coordinator (HSE) in TOTAL Offshore Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Company for TOTAL ¡V ABK Central Complex & Peripheral Platforms

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

ľ To manage the HSE aspects of the Offshore Platforms.
ľ Check safety equipment i.e. escape Sets, BA Sets, Life Lines. Life Rings, Life Jackets, Life Rafts & Life Boats to ensure functional and available during emergencies.
ľ Ensure that the maintenance activities are managed following the UNISUP/SAP programs and procedures.
ľ Coordinate with onshore support maintenance contracts for equipment transfer to/from onshore
ľ Inspect the fire equipment like hose reels, alarm system, fire extinguishers to ensure availability during emergencies.
ƒæ Liaise with other discipline for the PM¡¦s requiring assistance (FMI for CO2 / Inergen, Operator for deluge tests, FMQ, etc.
ľ Conduct/participate in mock drills like man in sea, gas leak, fire etc to ensure emergency preparedness and address any discrepancies.
ľ Check fire/gas detectors, H2S monitors to ensure functioning
ľ Audit compliance with all safety and environmental protection regulations and procedures.
ľ Report on daily/weekly/monthly basis to HSE(M)
ľ Promotion of safety awareness to site personnel
ľ Ensuring effective implementation of Permit To Work (PTW) system for cold work/hot work /Confined space (vessel) Confined Space Entry/Work At Height / scaffoldings.

Educational qualifications:

ƒæ Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) from Bangalore University in July 1991 ¡V INDIA

ľ Diploma In Industrial Safety from Annamalai University in May 2004 - INDIA

Computer Skills: SAP, MS Office, WINDOWS 2000 XP & MS Power Point
