Duties & Responsibilities
„X Management :
- Responsible in preparing companyˇ¦s presentation in getting a new Liner/NVOCC business for the company. These include, market studies, statistics, ports information, etc.
- Attending Agency meetings for respective principals
- Overseeing the commercial department in Port Klang (4 sales staff and 5 customer services)
- Responsible for recruitment of the commercial staff as well as the performance and appraisal of the staff
- Responsible for the organization structure of the department.
„X Commercial & Business Development :
- Responsible for establishing liner name in the market.
- Being the window to the Lines in Ben Line. Therefore, responsible for providing all reports and explanation to principals regarding commercial performance, operational, logistics, documentation, market survey for any new area of development to the principals.
- Getting new accounts/sales for the company. Submitting tenders and liaising with principal in tender submission for principal global account.
- Responsible in negotiating with principal on the selling rates & approving rates as per Minimum rate guideline approved by the principal to other commercial staff
- Responsible for negotiating slot cost with other shipping lines for the principal
- Attending meeting at least once a month in Singapore ˇV discussion with Owners Representative on Malaysia performance.
- Assist in overseeing commercial, operational and logistics performance of Penang and Pasir Gudang branches.
- Responsible for the lifting and reporting for all branches in Malaysia.

- Responsible in submitting budget for this department.
- Responsible in checking on staff claims.
- Responsible in checking on sales reports submitted by the sales staffs.
