PRESENT JOB (Achievements)
I had joined Read Group in Nov. 18, 2003 as Manager Finance and Accounts. This group consists of three main companies as.
1- Read (Pvt.) Limited (construction, development, estimation, etc of residential and commercial buildings.
2- Dintek (Pvt.) Limited. (construction, development, estimation, etc of residential and commercial buildings.
3- M. E. Consult (Pvt.) Limited. (Management and Engineering Consultants)
My job responsibilities and achievements are as follows.
a. Controlling the Accounts as per Accounting Standards and Companies Ordinance. Developed a new Accounting package for detailed, accurate and speedy work.
b. Managing and analyzing the financial activities of the companies by proper allocation of finance.
c. Producing the MIS reports for the Chief Executive on monthly bases.
d. Establishing and maintaining the internal audit department for proper checking and analyzing of vouchers and bills.
e. Deals with all Companies related Financial Institutions and DFIs. regarding companies’ financial activities.
f. Deals all Tax matters of the Companies.
Previous Job and Achievement
I had worked with Kohinoor Industries Limited from Dec. 20, 1999 as an Accounts Officer and promoted in 2001 as Assistant Manager Finance and Accounts. My achievements as an A.M. Finance and Accounts includes:
- Negotiate with main banks and reduced running finances mark up rate from 16% to 7.5% of ACBL & 10% of NBP.
- Re-scheduled Short Term and Long Term Loans on flexible and easy repayment term and conditions.
- Decrease cost of insurance of Stocks, Building, Machinery and Group Insurance of Employees from 3.800 M to 1.200 M.
- Implemented improved accounting system from Novel to Oracle Based System
