I Assist the HR General Manager as follows:
Organize preliminary / final interviews leading to the selection of employees for the company and advising panel on final terms of negotiation with candidates.
Conduct training and orientation programmes as per organizational needs.
Conduct regular meetings with divisional heads and group managers to seek feedback, initiating and discussing new proposals and providing quality HR support.
Prepare the annual manpower plan for the group as proposed by divisions/ departments and branches.
Manage diversity, disability management and offer comprehensive return to work support to injured employees.
Periodically review benefits schemes, salaries and grades.
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys leading to proposals passed to the senior management with regards to improving work conditions and well-being of employees.
Introduce and monitor the performance appraisal system.
Analyse promotions and replacement proposals of employees.
Counsel employees relating to grievances / issues.
Liaise with divisions to determine the groups external and in-house training programs.
Key Achievements:
Promoted from Management Executive to an Assistant HR Manager within three months of joining.
My contributions include:
Initiated and developed the educational scheme to fund employees in pursuing their higher studies.
Intensified campus recruitment and helped in recruiting more management trainees who are being groomed to take higher responsibilities.
Introduced a REVISED Pay System for the whole group.
Assist in creating a new role for the HR function to be a Strategic Business Partner by linking the HR policies with the overall direction of the company.
