Total Productive maintenance (TPM) Engineer

To Train and facilitate maintenance in term of equipment maintenability as per TPM methodology.

•Experience: TPM ENGINEERING & CONSULTING;
• Undergone Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Training.
• Proficient in the methodology of rooting out and eliminating causes of Defects (Kobetsu-Kaizen)-TPM methodology
• Proficient in the methodology of improving productivity, maintenance, quality, cost, safety and service delivery- PQCDSM
• Proficient in the execution/ activation/ implementation of 8 pillars of TPM activities, such as Focused Improvement (Kobetsu-Kaizen), Self Maintenance (Jishu-Hozen), Planned Maintenance, Quality Maintenance, Education & Training, Unsafe Condition & Practices, 5’s (Good House Keeping), Etc).

• Preventive maintenance: To implement a maintenance culture
That will prevent failure before hand.
• Corrective Maintenance; Early detection allows early correction.
• Planned Maintenance; Mapping out time for equipment
Shutdown for maintenance to take place.
• FUGUIAS (Abnormalities); Detection and Rectification
• Preparation and monitoring of standard maintenance practice (SMP) i.e.
• Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection & Tightening (CLIT Standard).
• Motion studies on production, to trace out the causes of delays during production.
• Experience in basic piping engineering (Offshore experience in platform maintenance)
• Recommendation of six sigma project to any area that needs improvement Scheming and updating production equipment’s standard operating procedure (S.O.P). In this I prepare copies of work instruction and work procedures of all the production equipment through reconciling design manual provisions and current plant performance to standardize process and provide guide to operators.
• Tracking of standard operating procedure (S.O.P) to ensure compliance at shop floor to avoid mal-operation of plant facilities.
• Pumps and Turbine repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare trouble shooting procedure for mechanical problems on machine and equipment.
• Maintenance of Gear box & running equipments.
• Workshop practice (lathe machine, shapers and milling machine operation).
• Compressors and valves maintenance.
• Maintenance of diesel engine.

A 5 years cousre; Mechanical Engineering in Nigeria university.
