Production Technologist

The job is to provide well conceptual design, sand analysis, production analysis, tubing design, technology screening, artificial lift, production enhancement,hydraulifc fracturing, acidising, sand control, and any production technology subjects.

My career started in July 1999 with PETRONAS CARIGALI Sdn Bhd. My first job is Facilites engineer looking after the projects at onshore crude oil terminal and offshore platforms. I was developed to be project engineer for five years before i moved to Petroleum department in 2005.
My new role is production technologist for new field development team. I have been attached to few field development projects and noe responsible to look for PETRONAS's oversea projects especially in Vietnam. My function is basically to come out with well completion proposals on the tubing design, well type, sand control, artificial lift, production chemistry issues, production enhancement, and other subjects related to production and well design. My job also involve contract management on the well completions equipments. To date, i have completed few designed on stand alone screen completion in both cased and open hole, gas lift design,hydraulic fracturing design & application, ESP studies, Gravel pack studies and design, PDG application, various type of perforation strategies, i.e. PURE, U/B and O/B perforation, E-firing head application,etc.

My first degree is Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained in 1999.
My 2nd degree is Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering obtained in 2005.

I am familiar with many petroleum software such as EPS WelFLO, PROSPER, GAP, ReO and all microsoft office application softwares.
