Planning Engineer

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:-
Company: - Al-Magwa Engineering & Cont. Co. W.L.L (Kuwait)/Supplied to :Kuwait Industrial Refinery Maintenance (KREMENCO).
Project: - CB: 1218- Tank cleaning, Repair, Fiber glassing and painting works at KNPC refineries and local marketing. (From Nov.07- till now)
Position: Planning Engineer {Approved by KNPC}
Job Description:-
• Prepare the target plan/recovery plan for the tank maintenance jobs such as (Complete re bottoming- Reroofing- roof seal replacement- painting activities- impervious lining around tanks,…ect.).
• Prepare the procedure as per the standards for the different (Mechanical/Painting) maintenance jobs.
• Prepare the drawings for (Access door cutting/Bottom/Shell/Roof) maintenance Drawing.
• Study project scope of work & technical specification, prepare work break down structure, and simulate the activities in the bar chart method.
• Plan & oversee the entire program me of work with the anticipation of the contract’s demands in terms of labors, materials, equipments and technical challenges.
• Selecting the appropriate techniques and sequences of events for the tanks maintenance jobs.
• Presenting schedules of work according with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures.
• Monitoring the progress throughout the construction process and comparing with the project schedule of work.
• Connecting with the site agent and surveyor throughout the process, marking adjustments to projects as necessary.
• Providing advice and support on the development of specific systems.
• Ensure the project cost reports are set up as per the company standards.
• Prepare periodic project cost control reports including cost to date, project performance to date and making recommendations as to forecasted cost projections while meeting critical deadlines.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis reports.
• Perform cost analysis and control activities.
• Analyze and evaluate cost for labor, equipment and materials as designated.
• Monitor and analyze costs, quantities and ratios for progress reporting.
• Provide analysis and recommendations as well as guidance and direction to project to avoid cost variances.

EDUCATION:-
May-2006 BS.C in Production & Mechanical Design Engineering from Suez Canal University.
