QA/QC Engineer

Quality assurance and Quality control engineer

a. Carry out document control as per established QC procedures
b. Keep control of documents by developing and updating the register for quality control procedures
c. Carry out material incoming receipt inspection and verification with relevant documents or certificates from supplier or sub contractor /vendor
d. Preparation of QC dossiers or manufacturer data records for the completed items and all relevant records, test certificates etc
e. Liaise with Client inspector (Petronas, GPS & MOMPL) for stage inspection to obtain product certificate as per applicable codes and standards
f. Assist in quality planning (ITP or QCP)
g. Coordinate with NDT/DT companies for testing and examination; subcontractors place for inspection: External/internal; and client auditors for successful audits
h. Liaise with the relevant Engineering Services personnel and appraise projected completion targets, which must be met or improved upon. Any anticipated delay to be brought to the attention of the Head of Operations
i. Oversee the work of the Inspector and welding /QC Inspector to ensure their work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
j. Check All the Drawing Index and arrange testing method and procedure
k. Conduct piping inspection and testing activities
l. Preparation of welding specifications, coordinate and witness all welding tests
m. Ensuring that respective sections follow and adhere to project quality plan
n. Check and endorse inspection record prior to issuance to customer
o. Ensure that the requirements for all weld, welder and welding activities are correctly specified and carried out in accordance with the relevant codes, client specifications and contract standards
p. Arrange all mechanical testing in the Lab including witness of Client & Certified agency
