•Compensation– advising Managers on the appropriate package for an employee; coordinate with the corporate compensation department to ensure domestic compensation structure is updated; evaluate new jobs with Compensation Manager for inclusion into the Compensation structure; oversee the Annual Salary Review
•Policies&Procedures – devised for region where required (be ensure that existing policies are always up to date and in alignment when legally possible with Corporate HR position)
•Staffing– Contingent and appropriate for work levels
•HR Intranet– created and implemented HR intranet to enable employee’s to access all policies, procedures, forms and benefits.
•Supervisor’s Handbook– responsible for creation of handbook, ensure it is up to date and that any revisions are carried out appropriately
Discipline & Grievance – participate in process when and where required; provide advice to managers when required
•Staffing– Local Nationals – manage and be accountable for the entire recruitment process to ensure legal and company policy compliance; devise and deliver the induction program for all new starts and existing members who have not already received the training; assisted with the implementation of any new practices, ensuring that employee consultation is undertaken; be ensure that exit interview system is 100% compliant and each employee undertakes an exit interview with the HR Manager or their immediate supervisor
•Global HR Identity– liaise with corporate and HR colleagues internationally to ensure that practices are consistent where legally possible and fair in practice, design and administration
•Training, Development and Education– coordinate T&D needs of region domestic entity with corporate Training department, ensure that the Educational Assistance Programme is utilised correctly; work with corporate HR on Career Development and Succession Planning of local national employees
•Attitude Survey– drive through feedback sessions with Managers
•Audits– represent local entity in HR audits by Company and government entities
•Supervise HR staff within reporting chain and identify areas for development
•Liaise closely with Payroll discipline of Finance to ensure timely and accurate payment of workforce
