Professional Experience

Develop and managed well site safety and environmental support to the on site manager and the contract company. Created mentoring and guidance systems concerning the implementation of the Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program, Conoco Phillips Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, ensure compliance API recommended practices, OSHA and ANSI regulations and nationally recognized consensus standards throughout the Anadarko basin. Manage HSE support for critical operations during the following: rig ups / rig downs, snubbing, coil tubing, perforation of well, high pressure stimulation (fracing well) etc. Conduct and document periodic rig inspections, record findings, identify action items with target dates for correction, and track action items to closure while engaging the contractor in the process. Ensure each operation has an Emergency Response/Evacuation plan and that routine drills (i.e. BOP, H2S, Fire, and Weather) drills are being conducted and documented. Provide guidance with Incident/Near Miss investigation and reporting, corrective action identification, and tracking to closure. Audit “permit to work” (i.e. Hot work, Confined space, LOTO) procedures to ensure compliance with contractor, ConocoPhillips, and regulatory standards, identify and address deficiencies with the contractor and well site supervisors to bring the operation into compliance. Investigate accidents and conduct root cause analysis, and teach safety classes to ConocoPhillips employees as well as our contractors. Responsible for six fire fighters while they perform daily duties, also while they were involved in fire suppression, search & rescue missions, and emergency medical care. Responded and controlled hazardous materials incidents. Responsible for teaching fire and medical training when needed. Provide advanced life support measures in the field. Conducted inspections of businesses and educated owners on NFPA fire codes and compliance procedures. Working knowledge of computer-based training as well as MS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.
