HSE Specialist

Extensive experience in HSE operations ranging from Power to various fields of construction in Refinery and Gas Plants. Demonstrated expertise in spearheading HSE entailing planning, coordination, implementation, clearance and compliance.

Construction / Process Safety & Risk Management
 Managing overall HEALTH SAFETY ENVIRONMENT (HSE) operations and preparing the workplace for routine HSE audits.
 Formulating and implementing HSE systems.
 Leading the Safety Cell to analyse the causes & reduce accidents, increase awareness among the employees towards maintenance of safe working conditions and conducting studies on factors that increase risks of accidents.
 Participating in HSE audits and training the staff members & operators for these audits.
 Formulating and generating HSE reports on a weekly/ monthly basis.
 Conducting training programs for employees to generate awareness about HSE processes, in close coordination with departmental Managers.
 Facilitating HSE training/refresher course with the site work force; Keep a record of every weekly HSE meetings on site;

Health Safety & Environment
 Creating effective procedures, plans and programs to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and ISO requirements within the area of industrial safety, health and the environment.
 Elaborate procedures, work instructions and specifications, for Environmental pollution control and Wastes Management
 Increasing the effectiveness of production, control monitoring as required for industrial and environmental safety for all of the Company’s objects, based on the introduction of modern information technology, technical & diagnostic methods and remote sensing.
 Actively involved in environmental monitoring and pollution control activities.
 Provide advices on Environmental aspects for operations, new projects for compliance to regulations, guidelines and ISO requirements.
 Carrying out Hazard & Risk analysis.
 Realize Hazardous Material management / Waste Management
 Conduct Environmental monitoring / testing activities to estimate environmental impacts / compliance with guidelines / specifications.
 Maintain and track environmental data.
 Perform Tap RooT investigation, produce Corrective Actions and follow up
 Organize, perform, control Waste Management / Waste disposal
 Conducting internal audits to ensure that all operations are executed within the set HSE objectives.
 Executing waste management measures for optimum utilization of resources.
