QA/QC Manager

To share my knowledge with less experienced personnel and ensure the crews have the relevant training and supervision to carry the job out in a safe and controlled manner

I have over 25 years experience in a senior position both in QA/QC Inspections and lifting operations onshore and on various offshore Installations.
Currently working as QA Manager in Kazakhstan on a replacement pipeline, coordinate inspectors in various disciplines, to meet client demands and prioritising work requests. Assist HSE department with all NCR’s received and advice on corrective actions.
Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections on all HP pipe lines, Separators’, Heat Exchangers, Valves etc, ensuring they meet the relevant standards, regulations, codes and are working to and in line with our quality management system (QMS) ISO 9001 2008.
Lifting Supervisor in gas plant shut down, coordinating all lifting activities being carried out and submitting lift plans for each individual operation. Lead auditor conducting audits throughout the plant and train personnel on the correct procedures for carrying out audits. I previously carried out Lifting Equipment surveys to SI 2307 & Drill pipe, TDS and BHA inspections on all down hole tools to DS-1 and NS-2 specifications on various Installations throughout the North Sea, West Africa, Serbia, Norway and Denmark.
For the past eight years I have also expanded my career to include training of personnel in various Lifting and Rigging disciplines in accordance with SI 2307 Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) Including the inspection of CCU’s to DNV 2.7-1, BS EN 12079, BS 7072 and all lifting appliances. I have vast knowledge of all NDE techniques including MT, PT, UT, and RT.
I enjoy a challenge, have good communication skills and am a team player with excellent problem solving skills.
