Work Skills & Experience Summary

I have been working for Petroleum Exploration & Production Authority (PEPA), in Sana'a - Yemen, for about 20 years, in variety of Reservoir, Production and Managerial activities
I was appointed in successively responsible roles positions at PEPA, as follows:
 PEPA Deputy Chairman for Production Affairs, May 2001 until this date.
 General manager of reservoirs, from 1997 until 2001,
 Manager of reservoir engineering, from 1995 until 1997,
 Head of the reservoir simulation section, from 1994 until 1995,
 A counterpart reservoir engineer with INTERA Company, in the oil and gas reserves project study for the whole Yemen, during 1992-1993.
 I started petroleum work in the oil/gas field operations from 1990 to 1992.
In addition to:
o Attended training courses in Reservoir /Production in the USA, Egypt & others,
o Prepared and submitted many papers and presentations in & outside Yemen.
o Participated in many reservoir simulation studies by ECLIPSE100 simulators.
o Prepared many oil/gas reserves studies for PEPA, & Ministry of Oil and Minerals.

I have also a Wide Experience in the following:
 Preparing Development Plans for Oil & Gas Fields, and Reservoir management plans,
 Studying, reviewed and approved major surface facilities projects, and >1500 oil/gas wells
 Using reservoir simulation Eclipse model, & many Reservoir / Production Softwares.

Scientific Conferences:
 Scientific Committee Member in the 1st Yemeni Oil & Gas Conference in 1998.
 Scientific Committee Member in the 2nd Yemeni Oil & Gas Conference in 2002.
 Executive Chairman of the 3rd Global Workshop of EOR in Athens- Greece, 2009.

o I had obtained the Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in June 1990.
o I have just finished Executive MBA from Sana’a University in Yemen & Maastricht School Management in Netherlands.
