Career Objective
Masters degree graduate with strong analytical skills, professional work ethics and unwavering commitment, aspiring to embark on a career in Petroleum Engineering.
Professional Experience
BP Sharjah Ltd. (British Petroleum) - Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Field Internship, Petroleum Engineering (June 2010 – August 2010)
Evaluated non-native gas storage prospects in existing reservoir, for Sharjah Petroleum Council (SPC). Involved in wells and reservoir data collection and analysis for gas storage reservoir simulation studies using ECLIPSE E300, along with AMEC and Schlumberger. Supervised production logging (PLT) and bridge plug operations as a part of surveillance and well works campaign. Analyzed and interpreted production logging operation results and took decision on well water shut-off treatments. Studied wells and field history including geology, petrophysical logs, well testing, stimulation treatments and previous workovers. Underwent complete health and safety training for field work as per BP standards.

Additional Information
PROJECTS & ASSIGNMENTS UNDERTAKEN
Research Project (Dissertation), Heriot - Watt University (June 2010 – August 2010)
“Productivity of Horizontal Well and its Effective Length”
Performed analytical and sensitivity studies on various reservoir engineering factors affecting the productivity of horizontal wells. Interpreted and discussed the reservoir engineering theory behind the results, achieved from analytical calculations, and compared them with published literature and numerical simulations. Drafted an SPE technical paper based on this study and have submitted for university and SPE technical committee review.
Field Development Project, Heriot - Watt University (April 2010 – June 2010)
Reservoir and Production Engineering
Analyzed PVT and core data to determine reservoir fluid and rock properties. Calculated capillary pressure, relative permeability and free water level by analytical methods. Carried out seismic and well test analysis to determine faults and reservoir boundaries. Modeled static and dynamic reservoir behavior using PETREL and ECLIPSE. Designed and modeled vertical and horizontal, producer and injector wells, including ESP and Gas Lift design using WELLFLO. Designed and modeled sub-surface manifolds, pipelines and surface facilities using PIPESIM.
