• Maintenance of Telecommunication systems used in United Nations network.
• VSAT’s for Voice, Data and Video Conferencing. Installed 3.7 & 3.9 meters VSAT Antennae’s.
• Microwave Links for Backbone and Spur Links.
• LAN Drivers for extending Voice and Data.
• Provide Audio & Video Tele Conferencing facilities as requested.
• Public Addressing Systems as requested for Audio Conferences.
• Installation of Inverters and Battery Banks for Electric Power Outages.
• Installation, Maintenance of Communication Equipments being used in the PDO network.
• Responsible for surveying, installation, commissioning till being handed over to Operations Department.
• 2.4 GHz Spread Spectrum Radios for both main and spur links (PTP links and PTM links) and are used for both voice and data networks.
• Routers and switches for VOIP & Data services at rigs.
• Solar Panels, Rectifiers and Battery banks for the new tower locations.
• Site surveys for new Tower locations and for Antennas Installations.
• Have installed more than 80 radio’s (PTP & PTM) in north of PDO area which involves extensive surveying and travelling.
• Media converters & Switches for Fiber Optic Cables.
• Have been involved as a team member in Exchange cutovers and various other radios cut over.
• VSAT (TES & PES) for voice and data use for the Rig Communications.
• VHF and HF radio’s for both fixed and mobile users (vehicles),
• Exicom Condor Radios (VHF and UHF) bench alignment and field installation for voice communication.
• Installation of MDR microwave radios as back bone, multiplexers, Ground to air radio’s.
• MDF & IDF wiring, exchange cable joints and cable termination.
• Attending Exchange, Data complaints.
