Piping Design Engineer

Well, as a young piping engineer I’m looking to improve myself and my abilities and build up my career, toward to be a successful Piping Engineer. And at the meantime I’m looking forward to learn more and get more experience in Piping Design field.

Work Experience:

• Nov. 2011 - Present - CB&I (Chicago Bridge & Iron) - Piping Design Engineer

Projects:

• Reficar Refinery Project (Refinería de Cartagena S.A.) (Nov. 2011 – Present).


My Responsibilities:

• Piping Design and supporting of firefighting units using Intergraph PDS.
• Prepare Key Plan Drawings of the piping GA drawings.
• Create Piping GA’s using PDS Drawing Manager.
• Finish the piping GA’s using MicroStation.

• Oct. 2010 – Nov. 2011 - Uhde Engineering Egypt (ThyssenKrupp) - Piping Design Engineer

Projects:

• Egyptian Fertilizers Company (EFC) I & II Revamp (Oct. 2010 – Oct. 2011).
• AlexFert Ammonium Sulphate Plant (Oct. 2011 – Nov. 2011).

My Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment, steel structures and piping 3D modeling on Aveva PDMS.
• Preparing plot plans and equipment arrangements.
• Preparing load data, civil and steel structure information.
• Conducts Piping Study and performs above and underground piping design and coordination plan
• Performs PDMS drafting module.
• Prepare general arrangement, Isometric, Support (standard and special) drawings, nozzle orientation and attachments for the equipment
• Prepare heat tracing system design.
• Materials take off (manual).
• Provide site support.
• Perform any other allied tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor of Mechanical Power Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering ,Ain Shams University, Egypt.

o Graduation Project : "Sea Waves Energy - generating electric energy using OWC(Oscillating Water Column)"
o Graduation Project Grade: Excellent.
