IT/ Project Manager

I am looking for project management and IT infrastructures and services management. Looking to extend my experience in an international environment, and in the oil industry.

Several years’ experience in project management and IT department activities, team management and project presentation to government agencies. Departmental coordination in the deployment of newly computerized sites . System analysis, Business Process Re-engineering and project management skills on projects with several government agencies. Broad experience in African projects and Business Process Analysis.

For the last three years, i had to work in a very challenging environment, Nigeria, and in very challenging conditions, as a private contractor to the federal government for the Nigeria Customs Modernization Project, as well as the implementation of the Nigeria Single Window for Trade. This project and all the smaller projects resulting from it lead me to work with many different procedures, federal organizations, and stakeholders, and gave me the capacity to deal with complex project involving many actors.
Some specific accomplishments include:
- IT Department Management: Team leading, resources management, projects coordination.
- Project Deployment Coordination: new Enhanced Customs Clearance Procedure (ECCP), new electronic Passengers Baggage Entry System (PBES), NAFDAC electronic Invoice and automated charges calculation system, Customs electronic Manifest.
- Business Process Analysis and re-Engineering: NAFDAC electronic invoice, NAFDAC automated charges calculation system, Customs Electronic Manifest, NAFDAC electronic Certificate, Government Agencies integration into the new Nigeria Single Window for Trade, Interoperability between Federal Inland Revenue Service and Nigeria Customs Service.
