-Inspect the raw materials as tanks, enclosures, clamps, pipes & fittings, rotating & static equipments, vessels, at the vendors and prepare acceptance and rejection reports for all local and foreign raw metal materials to the factory
- Witnessing and verification welders’ qualification, welding procedure and Procedure qualification and approval according to specification requirements.
- Conduct routine/regular surveillance, inspections on the activities involving welding, materials, dimensional inspection on completed structures/pressure vessels/piping/pipelines/tanks etc, with approved inspection and test plans, and check /approve inspection reports.
- Support the QA/QC Manager in coordinating/communicating various issues that affect the Quality during the design, construction, and pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handover phases to resolve conflicts within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards with follow-up the status of repairs implementation as recommended.
- Monitor supplier non-conformance and corrective action processes, and where necessary, raise non-conformance notes and facilitate disposition of non-conforming products and rectification works.
- Analysis of non-compliance and corrective actions and preventive measures to reduce the defects in the material receiving. “By using six sigma tools I implement reduce materials defects percentage project saving 25000$ annually “.
-Analysis and report on supplier performance for input into supplier re-qualification and management review processes.
