Kribhco is one of the world’s largest Gas based fertilizer producing industry with a production capacity of 6400 MTD ammonia and 10900 MTD of Urea.
As part of the expansion of existing Kribhco’s plants, the KBR scope was Engineering Procurement and Construction of process units for natural gas, condensate stabilization, gas treating units, gas dehydration & NGL Recovery, acid gas compression and residue reinjection, Utility, substations, Instrument Equipment Shelters, new NGL pipelines, gas gathering systems etc. Assigning 5 different contractors around 9000 workers worked in peak time. The prime responsibilities assigned were to develop and impart construction safety related trainings to the Clients staff, Bechtel and Sub contractor employees. Additional responsibilities were to maintain the training documentation, site safety inspections, training correspondence and coordination with contractors. Achievements •The total number of attendees recorded for some of the mandatory trainings as of Oct’09 are 20,000 employees attended HSE Induction, 4500 employees undergone Confined space and 10000 employees have completed work at height training. •46 million man-hours . •Excellent Performance to provide continued support to colleagues & sustained high level of performance as ES&H Administrator &Trainer. •Appreciation for dedication to training in partnership with GAIL / PDIL Division HSE Department. – Nov’2009.

Set policy and provide professional service on the anticipation, identification, assessment and control of health hazards in the workplace including, Company’s construction camps;
Provide safe, healthy, regulatory-compliant workplaces that offer protection of company assets and safeguards health of workers, contractors and the public
Identify health risks that could restrict or terminate company operations and provide solutions to minimize the risks.
Administer and provide primary liaison contact with the Medical Services Manager for implementation of the Elements of Excellence System;

Respond to workplace health issues brought by Operations, Maintenance, Laboratory, Materials & Procurement, General Services, site construction and other Safety Health Environmental & Quality professionals;
Manage qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments to identify workplace health hazards, produce reports with recommendations for achieving hazard reduction and compliance with relevant industrial hygiene standards and follow up to verify implementation;
Oversee Refinery’s preparation of health risk assessment and health impact assessments and provides services to minimize the hazard;
