Procurement Engineer with 5 years experience

 4 and 1/2 years experience in purchasing of material for EPC Oil & Gas Projects such as Line Pipes, Structural Materials, Piping Materials, Subsea Power and Fiber Optic Cables and Equipment as per International Specification requirements, in line with the requirement of ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, etc.
 Well experience in procurement of Capital items for Fabrication Workshop and Equipment/Spare Parts/Material for Marine Vessels.
 Experience in preparation of services package for subcontract services such as drilling, grouting, diving, NDT, surveys, structural fabrication and installation for offshore oil & gas projects.
 Experience in preparation of charterer party agreement for hired vessels such as pipe-lay barge, accommodation barge, cargo barge, Tow/AHT tugs, etc.
 Specialized in procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and Subcontracts.
 Firm knowledge and experience in Material procurement aspects, both in Local as well as Overseas procurement.
 Competent in all aspect of procurement & subcontracting activities including floating RFQ, analyzing of techno-commercial bids, negotiating with vendors/subcontractors, issuing POs/SOs/Agreement/CPA’s.
 Expediting for documents and delivery of items & equipment.
 Familiar with procurement rules and regulations, engineering industry codes and regulatory guidelines.
 Familiarity in Vendor development and performance evaluation activities.
 Through knowledge in shipping procedure, clearance and delivery procedure.
 Excellent communication, negotiation and convincing skills.
 Skilled in handling task in team and dynamic environment.
 Good exposure to computerized material management system, fluency in English language and usage of MS office application.

 Pursuing Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from “The Institute of Engineers” Delhi, India.
 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3-Years Full Time Course, From June 2005 to June 2008) from G.B. Pant Polytechnic (Board of Technical Education, Delhi-India) with first division.
 Senior School Certificate Examination (2 Years) from C.B.S.E. Board – Delhi, India.
