DRILLING ENGINEER-SUPERVISOR

Skill and expertise as Rig Supervisor and Drilling engineer with seven (10) years of experience in drilling engineering and well site operations in Venezuela with experience in both offshore and onshore drilling operations.

2004-2006: Working as a drilling engineer, designing drilling programs using wellplan software, including: Bha, fluids, cementing, casing settings, directional well planning and well completion. Monitoring daily progress of wells both on the rig and office, checking the deviation plan in time and costs according to AFE.
2006-2008: Working as a drilling supervisor for onshore drilling rigs from 500 HP to 3000 HP in Tia Juana, Lagunillas, Bachaquero, Tomoporo field all located in the western part of Venezuela. The major tasks include planning, organization, coordination and management of all parties involved in these activities.
Working on the rigs on rotational systems of 4x4, 7x7, 15x 15 (on and off)
Drilling Vertical and directional wells from 1500 ft to 15000 ft. installing and controlling the following: drill strings, bha, fluids, running casings, fishing operations, TCP, casing Gun, cementing operations, completions, well control operations, installing wellheads, among others. Writting daily drilling reports of all the operations using Dims for Windows.
2008-2009: I was sent to Abeerden, Scotland (UK) by PDVSA to get a Master Degree in Drilling and Well engineering which it was completed successfully.
2009-2013: Working as a drilling supervisor for Rig PTX-5955 (3000 HP) in Tomoporo field all located in the western part of Venezuela.

International Job Experience/Projects: In 2012, special assignment in China in order to monitor, verify, guarantee and inspect parts, test and assembly of more than 80 Drilling Rigs manufactured all around “China” during 2012-2013, Rigs from 350 Hp to 3000 Hp (For Workover and Drilling operations). The project was completed and those different rigs are now operating in The Western part of Venezuela, as well as, The Orinoco Belt (in the Eastern part)
