• Handling & follow up of Import & Export L/C from opening to negotiations.
• Developing better personnel relations with Trade & Finance Dept. for executing smooth transaction & actively involved in overall supervision and In-Charge of L/C Department.
• Responsible for entire Import L/C drafting, informing the bank of any error / correction. After getting the clean swift copy from bank, responsible for sending it to the Beneficiary/Exporter via email/fax.
• Drafting all types of letters related to Import & Export L/C, such as Acceptance Amendments, Covering letter, T/R, PAD,
• Well versant in Co-ordination with Banks for Credit facilities, maintain credit line & other issues like Guarantees, Bonds & all other related Trade Services as well as general correspondences.
• Co-Coordinating with Insurance companies for issuing policies as per the trade terms of L/C requirement.
• Checking & Confirming the B/L AWB, Inspection Certificate & related drafts prior to issuing the originals.
• Arrange & co-ordinate the entire import & export shipments with Shipping companies & Port and Customs.
• Handling & tracking all Export Shipments as well as Re-Export Shipments.
• Arrange all Import L/C Shipments. Follow up all Switch B/L Shipments with shipping companies.
• Conduct market surveys to negotiate rates with shipping companies, clearing agents & freight forwarder.
• Arrange Quality and quantity inspection with Inspection companies like S.G.S. Bureau Veratas, Bekhard Int’l.
