• Logistic Manager: Corocoro project PDVSA Venezuela: Streamlined procurement and logistic procedures to ensure material purchasing and movement took place in an accurate and timely manner. Accomplishment: All shipments were received in the Allianza yard in Puerto Ordaz with no losses. Implemented a streamlined protocol in both communications and logistic processes that will withstand personnel changes; ensuring they will continue with all future projects that Dynamic Industries has planned in Venezuela. These same procedures were used in subsequent projects which Dynamic Industries and its sister companies (Arc Industries, Southern Steel & Supply, Dii Technical (I&E) & Dii, LLC) had concurrently operating in Trinidad and planned in Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and other international locations. Created shipping procedure through Trinidad that cut down shipping time from upwards of 90 days to 2 weeks or less.
• Procurement Manager: Located hard to find materials, negotiated prices in instances where material had to be procured at below available market prices. Built relationships with steel mills, pipe suppliers, and specialty chemical companies internationally in India, Korea, Japan, Canada, Germany, and China among others. Also responsible for initiating and managing the procurement and other issues for the Dynamic Maritime Vessel “Carolyn” which was leased to PDVSA.
• Operations Manager: Executed predetermined plans, created and executed plans within specific budget constraints.
• Troubleshooter/Problem Solver: Available and on-call with passport/visas current to deal with international problems dealing with partners, governmental, taxation, customs and other bureaucratic issues.
• Base Manager: Banzala Project Chevron-Sonagol, Angola: Managed all logistics and personnel issues on Kwanda Base, Soyo, Angola. Interaction with local authorities, base management, customers and coordination of all aspects of running a base office in rural Africa.
