General Manager, Country Manager, Operations Manager, Project Director

To support and contribute concurrent growth and success of your organization, as well as my own personal career by effectively utilizing my considerable experience in the oil & Gas industry.

I have held senior managerial positions in Europe and the Middle East in the last 15 years ranging from General corporate management, operations director, Project directorship, senior project management as well as business development and tendering activities. These positions were primarily concerned with Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry both in Onshore and Offshore activities.
During the last six years I have worked as general manager / operations managers of two reputable EPC contracting companies with extensive fabrication capabilities serving the local Oil Gas Industries. Previous to these I worked with an international American EPC contractor in United Arab Emirates as project director overseeing the design and construction of two large wellhead process platforms worth $180M.
My project management experience covers a number of international EPC projects from basic design to construction, commission, completion and hand over. Project values ranged $60M - $200M.
My project management responsibilities included: client liaison, project set-up, FEED and basic design studies, sub-contractor mobilization, contracting, commercial strategies, budgetary control, planning and progress monitoring, procurement and sub-contract negotiations, reporting, manning levels, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), completion and hand-over.
I have a strong engineering background and have in the past worked as design manager on a number of EPIC projects. I have practical management experience in construction, Installation, hook-up and commissioning. I have a good appreciation of issues relating to material movements, work packs, manning levels, advanced planning and costs control.
I have experience in business development and tendering. I have managed a number of international oil and gas bids valued US$60M – US$300M. I have hands-on experience in setting up of consortiums / Joint Ventures between the local and international companies for some of these tenders.
