Security Manager

I am an experienced Senior Corporate Security Manager / Executive currently working for Glencore the multinational mining company, managing their operations in a high-risk area of the southern Philippines. I am now looking for a new role.

I have extensive experience managing and consulting on security issues in the mining, construction, oil & gas, financial services, manufacturing and leisure sectors.

Prior to entering the private sector, I was a senior Police Officer both in the United Kingdom and Australia.

• Investigations: Over 25 years’ experience of managing and conducting investigations in both law enforcement and corporate environments.
• Security Management: Managing security for a US$6 billion project with responsibility for up to 500 staff and contractors.
• Risk and Threat Assessment: Extensive experience of managing operations in high risk environments and developing dedicated assessment tools to mitigate threats.
• Policy Development: Extensive track record in the development of security policies, standards, procedures and compliance methodologies.
• Intelligence: Wide ranging experience in managing the collection, evaluation, analysis and dissemination of intelligence.
• Physical / Electronic Security: Detailed understanding of best practice in access control, CCTV, physical security systems, and design methodologies
• Executive Protection: Development of dedicated plans, training packages, induction procedures and travel procedures.
• Contractor Management: Managing a contracted guard force over 450 officers, and developing performance related contracts to monitor their compliance to KPI’S
• Counter Terrorism: Unrivalled experience as a result of being a member of Scotland Yard’s Anti-Terrorist Branch for 5 years.
