Responsible for management, coordination and the successful provision of all logistic support to 1000 staff in an oil and gas service camp in Libya operating over a 1000 miles2 footprint. Development of the annual budget, through forecasting the cost of catering, transport and other logistic essentials as well as controlling inventory and material for projects.
•Negotiated with the Libyan National Army to provide escort to and from the project sites of all materials required for the Tank Cleaning and Dehydrator Bypass project.
•Developed a strong client relationship leading to an increase in service contracts, generating an additional company annual income of £500,000.
•Streamlined staff as part of a companywide policy for strategic change resulting in the company saving over £600,000 per annum.
•Took on security from its infancy identifying areas of threat and implementing new policies to ensure that both workforce and company asset were protected.
•Significantly accelerated workload output by identifying a modern technological replacement; generated savings to the organisation of 50% against the cost of the existing legacy.
