• Ensure all required copy of the documents are available before starting the work.
• Raw Material inspection and Ensure the Materials are as per relevant specification and product data sheet.
• Verifying the calibration certificates for the test instruments, gauges etc.
• Ensuring the weather condition is acceptable for painting applications.
• Monitoring the surface preparation and ensuring the Profile thickness as per the Specification.
• Perform visual inspection of painting as per the specification by ensuring the Paint System, WFT, DFT
• Documentation of daily Reports and maintaining all quality records for further reference.

• Ambient condition – Hygrometer, Metal Surface thermometer, dew point calculator
• Blotter test for Compressed Air Contamination ,Nozzle pressure test (Hypodermic needle gauge)
• Steel Surface Preparation as per ISO ,SSPC-SP Standards
• Dust as per ISO 8502-3 (Rating 1-5)
• Roughness as per ASTM D 4417 (Testex tape)
• Salt test as per ISO 8502-6( Bresle patch),
• WFT check using comb gauge & Eccentric Wheel
• DFT as per SSPC-PA2 (Electronic gauge)
• Adhesion Test as per ASTM D-3359 (X- cut)
• High voltage & Wet sponge holiday detection
