Professional Experience

July 13 to present day Camp Facilities and People Logistics Manager Shell Gas Iraq (BGC).
Currently employed by Shell Gas Iraq with overall responsibility of managing life support services in 3 camps in Southern Iraq which includes full soft and hard services. The role also includes managing all visa, oil field passes, and travel to and from Iraq for over 800 staff in a hostile remote area. The to go expert for travel into Iraq.
Other duties preformed include.

• Manage an annual budget of $25 million Per Annum.
• Responsible that all our staff are in full compliance with Iraqi legislation to work in Iraq. (Visas, Oil Field Passes, Work Permit and bloods)
• Manage travel of all our staff travel to and from Iraq including Meet & Greet at Basra airport and safe passage to camps of all our staff and visitors.
• Overall responsibility for contract compliance of contractors by reviewing monthly contract management plan and annual performance review.
• Daily meeting with respective Camp Managers through telephone conference.
• Conduct twice monthly full audit on all our camps.
• Ensure HACCP procedure is implemented.
• Full implementation of Shell QHSE procedures including their lifesaving rules and Goal Zero.
• Management of third party camps used as an overspill for our visitors
• Project manage construction projects with the camps.
• Strategized and planned upgrade of our base camp which included increase in rooms
• Check and approve monthly invoices submitted by contractors.
• Raising of PO for all extra work through the caterer.
• Planning for all ad hoc events for VIP’s and Government officials
• Contract Holder for 5 contracts.
• Training and mentoring Iraqi colleagues in their daily duties to ensure of their development within the company.
• Any other duties assigned by the BGC Logistics Director.





June 11 to June 13 Dining Facilities Manager, Dyn Corp International, Afghanistan

• Plan, and provide the preparation and service of meals 4 times a day for US troops and contractors in Afghanistan.
• Working with a staff of 160 of differing nationalities.
• Served 10,000 meals per day and managing a turnover of around $1.8k per month.
• Responsible for full maintenance programme within my area of responsibility.
• Manage monthly Profit Loss Account.
