Refinaria de Luanda, Angola | Mar . 2025 – Current
• Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, operation, and shutdown activities
for process and utility systems, ensuring full compliance with operating procedures and HSE
standards.
• Operate and monitor process parameters and equipment, both in the field and through the
Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Prepare and perform isolations and reinstatements of equipment during maintenance
interventions in accordance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Support maintenance and inspection activities in close collaboration with instrumentation,
electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Performed field inspections, monitoring and logging operating parameters of pumps, valves,
furnaces, and separators.
• Carried out sampling, chemical dosing operations and basic QA/QC checks to ensure product
quality.

-Sonangol Refinação e Petroquímica- Refinery Operator internship
Refinaria de Luanda, Petrangol, Angola| Mar . 2022- Jun. 2022
• Assist senior operators in daily operations of distillation units; Help monitor process
parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow , and level;
• Participate in safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
• Observe inspections of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pipelines.
• Assist in equipment cleaning and preparation tasks.
• T ake part in training sessions related to refining processes.
• Study process diagrams (P&ID, PFD) to understand plant operation.
• Develop basic knowledge of process control and instrumentation
