In answering a question on what was attributed to Mr. Kamal Ganzouri, Prime Minister of Egypt, that nothing has been realized from Arab and Western countries’ promises of financial aid to Egypt, His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, explained that The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, is very keen to achieve the interests of the brotherly Egyptian people.
His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed to support the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt and its economy through a package of aid amounting to US$ 3,750,000,000 (Three billion and seven hundred and fifty million dollars). His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also noted that The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has already transferred US$500,000,000 (Five hundred million dollars) as a grant to support the Egyptian budget.
